Yea, its good. But where should we post the daily articles? Google docs or onenote.

I know that you suggested that we segregate ourselves and post under relevant sections, but there is a problem here. Lets take the case of jason. He will be offline for a week. When he is back, he will search the articles he missed. When they are sorted by date, it becomes easier to search. But when they are amalgamated into the major headings, it will become dificult for him to know what he missed.

After you have sorted all of this, post a new thread in the google group, with proper headings, sub headings, indetations etc. so as to assist in clear understanding. Write as you will explain to a toddler. Then we can assertain how many have migrated, there is still a lot of confusion as to what is going on, who is in onenote and who aint.

my views
submission should be person based. reasons below

1. people can keep a track of their posts. now i dun even know on what topics i have posted. and which topics i need to add some info. earlier seeing my section would remind me the gaps i'd left in some of my articles.
   
2. would ensure accountability. everyone knows what others are doing. how much they're contributing. also if need others can elaborate on some points missed by others.
3. would deal with absentee cases. as Gambit mentioned when people are back from a break, they should be able to find things easily. not keep typing ctrl+F :)))))))))

issue based compilation should be done definitely. but not daily. monthly perhaps.

daily articles should first be emailed in the google group. then we can decide whether we want to create a google doc or paste in one note. if we ask people to post daily submissions on one note, people won't be that regular as they are now. they need to know others are watching them ;)

1) PERSON WISE SECTIONS

2) TOPIC( national/international etc) WISE SECTIONS

@ALL, post your notes in person wise section , i will take care of compilation. I have posted the notes upto 11th jan in respective topic sections. from now onward post you notes in the personwise sections. 

@all, if u can post the articles upto 11th jan in ur respective sections then please reply otherwise i will post them, 

no need to mail in google groups. and other thing please mention date along with the notes.

There is owner based section.....So on each day u can copy ur contents under ur section..but along witht tht u have to place the news item under the relevant month based section.....

So if u think tht tis doubling ur work u can leave away with owners section....

Abseentisim isnt a problem....each one here a separate section to do - be it natn issue,intl issue, sant ,eco ..

SO if they come back they will concentrate on tht section only....and if u open national section under jan ,u see all the topics on the left side as pages headngs, so just by scrolling they can find them easily...no need of ctrl +f ...

Accountability hereafter aint a problem,we all have certain work to do,like my pib is date wise u see my section and if there is some date not available tht means I am not regular and at the same time we are noting Y/N in the main home page tht shows whether we have done the work or not..

Yar making a notebook like old wll have no use during exam,U must be knowing during exam what all we want is something easy compiled ,easy to read ,max points on a topic...So this way this would be provided..Eg: u open national news jan month ->all the heading will be available in the right side,u click them and see info under,now if we submit in google docs who has time to see whether it is to be added or deleted,.and down the line it would just be dumped .now u see most people are submitting docs daily ,but have everyone opened it and read everything under,ans would be no......

Better keep it integrated....U can have ur owners section for ur use....

I am just like u giving my suggestions and I am not instructing....So finally whichever way majority decides I and u ll go by it...Is tht fine #game...

i would be submitting in my section in one note. after that if someone wants to put my articles in the ias2013 one note under a particular section. i have no issues. but i cannot do both. reason being if i pay too much attention on the integration part, i might compromise the quality of my posts. and i would not like to do that. rest is upto you and the other members.
