Hi Guys,

Welcome on-board.

First of all set-up your environment before starting with any projects.
Install the latest version of Fedora or Ubuntu on your system and then
install the following tools on it:
+ Kbable (package name is kde-sdk) - You will do most of your localization work using it.
+ An Open Source True Type Oriya Font. (Lohit or Utkal, feel free to dig more if available).
+ Scim Input Methods. (It will provide you multiple keyboard layout for typing Oriya).

Once you can set-up all these things, you can coordinate with Gora Bhai or Manoj can to take some of
the small gnome files to get started. Other projects will be little bit difficult for the time being as you need
to understand the process first.

You can follow these documentation to know more about the process:

Note: Some of these articles are bit old. But it will help you understand the process overall.

As you all are remotely available we can have a skype discussion together may be sometime next week!
In that case, provide your skype ids. if you have got one?

Hope to see you getting started with many cool projects that we have in the pipeline.

Regards,
Subhransu
