Dear All,
Kindly find attached a small write-up about the present status and future plans for the 11th century Sri Venkateswara and Bhoga Narasimha temple situated on banks of Cauvery at Srinivasa Kshetra near Belagola in Mandya district, which is being renovated by Orissa Association Mysore. Many noble families of Mysore, Bangalore, Hyderabad and from various places are deeply connected with it. Although the temple belongs to the Muzrai department of the Govt. of Karnataka, it was neglected and abandoned.
During the meeting held on the day of Varsikotsava, a new Management & Technical Committee was constituted. And decisions were taken for conducting daily puja & other rituals. Many patrons committed to contribute for meeting the expenses on monthly basis - their names have been listed in the minutes. The beauty & quality of work of boundary wall which is being constructed was highly appreciated by everybody attended that day's event. It was brought to the knowledge of all present about the future plans for development of the temple and its' site.
The minutes of the meeting will highlight the details about the new team, daily puja, future plans and the progress of boundary wall work and also the fund position.
Kindly spare a few minutes to open the attachments and go through the write-up to know about your temple, for which Sri Venkateswara and Bhoga Narasimha with Sri Devi & Bhu Devi will shower their blessings on you and everybody in your family.
