warnings. First of all, I removed the -Wextra compile flag from the compile options (in my copy of the repo for now, but I would really cheer up if its going to the master as well)  Why? This option doesn't really add anything good, actually it messes up some stuff which is actually intended (API functions with parameters which are sometimes unused, etc). All warnings which could result in run time errors are found under the -Wall flag.

Then secondly, last but not least; somewhere before the holidays I removed every single warning. And guess what? There's shit-lions of them back now! Iek. Since removing them is a mind killing, sick making job I'd like to propose to divide this work.
