LECTURE REMINDER:

Soutpansberg historian Charles Leach speaks about his book ‘The Legend of Breaker Morant is Dead and Buried: A South African version of the Bushveldt Carbineers in the Zoutpansberg’ this month.  He offers a South African angle on the life and times of ‘Breaker’ Morant, the Anglo-Australian who caused mayhem in the dying days of the Anglo-Boer War.

EXHIBITION: MANDELA@94

A exhibition of artwork celebrating our former President as his 94th birthday approaches opens in the Origins Centre Gallery on 4 July.  This exhibition of paintings, sculpture, photographs, beadwork and prints by South African artists is curated by Natalie Knight, Wits’ Art Curator for West Campus. 
 
The exhibition runs until July 31 and will be open Mondays - Fridays from 09h00-17h00 and on Saturday mornings from 09h00-13h00.  In addition, the following special events will be held:
