Hi everyone

Here's hoping you had a great bank holiday weekend.  Doesn't it feel like Monday?

We meet again tomorrow evening, same time, same place.   Let me know if you are coming and if you want to read.  I am delighted that Belinda has already volunteered to read her second chapter from her African adventure 'Kilifi'.

Below is a message from one of our members, Craig Jeffcott, about a magazine that he is setting up with a few friends.  Contact him at craig.j...@gmail.com if you are interested in contributing.

Looking forward to  seeing you tomorrow night.

Keep writing .

Best wishes

Rupert

Subject: Magazine contributors

Rupert,

I wonder if you might pass this on to the group:

Myself and a couple of friends are setting up a magazine, and are looking for some contributors.

The magazine, called EP, will hopefully be both a print and web magazine.  It is broadly cultural, with themes of interconnectedness, and will have feature articles, photography and illustration features, a review section, and fiction, poetry and graphic fiction.

I thought perhaps some of you might be interested in getting involved.  I was thinking more towards the fiction side of things, based on what people at the group tend to bring along, but if you were interested in features or reviews or whatever, that'd be great too.

At the moment, we're collecting together some pieces to design a mock-up version of the magazine, to help develop the design and to allow us to promote the magazine and to attract funding or sponsorship - If anyone had something that they might be able to submit quite soon, that would be really helpful.

I have a sort of media kit that I can forward to you if you're interested, and some contributer guidelines to tell you about the sort of thing that we're looking for,

Thanks,

Craig
