Hope all is going well with your writing. 

 

We had a successful meeting last Wednesday: a "thank you" to Harum, Paul and Honza for some excellent readings.

 

Jeremy has sent a link to George Orwell's "Politics and the English Language" with the message "I remember mentioning an essay by Orwell, at least twice now. So I thought it about time I sent you a link to it, in case there was anyone in the group who would be interested in reading it."  You can find it at www.tinyurl.com/yets as well as on our Googlegroup site.

Finally, totally unrelated to writing (or maybe not) -- a sake tasting at Selfridges.  Our neighbours in Queenstown Road are sake enthusiasts who make and brand their own high-quality sake for the UK market (see www.isake.co.uk). They are doing a tasting at Selfridges from next Monday -- see their invite below.
