Our condolences and prayers to Fina's sister and family. Nuestro
pésames y oraciones van con la hermana de Fina y familia. Que en paz
descanse.

Fina's love of her work and her 'other family' was revealed in her
small smile and the sparkle in her eyes as she guided and shaped many
thousands of young dancers – their dancing, their spirit and their
lives. Through them, her life will touch the quality of dance and of
people lives for the many generations ahead.

She lives in my heart and memories – and, I hope, in how I have lived
my life. I am very grateful to have had her in my life.

Thank you, Fina - with love, and appreciation for the enormous gifts
you shared with so many.

Adolfina Suarez-More

It is with great sadness that the family of Adolfina Suarez-More
announces her passing on October 1, 2008, at the age of 86 after a
serious illness. "Fina" will be remembered by her sister-in-law, Dulce
P. Suarez, her nephews Francisco Suarez-Pella and wife April, Rafael
Suarez-Rodriguez and wife Maria del Carmen, Sergio Ramos-Suarez and
her niece Irene Ramos-Suarez. Also by her grand-nephew John Suarez-
Pella and wife Yvette, her grand-nieces Anita M. Burk and husband
Vernon and Angelique Gaida and husband Royce, and great grand-nephews
Luke Zane Suarez-Pella and Austin Patrick Suarez-Pella. A rosary will
be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 200820 at Oak Hills Mortuary,
8332 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, TX 78229. Oak Hills Mortuary.
