Multiple SQL statements separated by semicolon

Hi there,

I found OrientDB and think it has a very great potential and looks very promising to me.
Now I have a quite obvious question:
Why does the SQL engine not support multiple SQL statements separated by semicolon?
This is supported in console but does not work in studio or JDBC driver nor in in java document API.
IMHO this would be trivial to fix and cause a lot of additional value.

Hi Jörg,

Thank you very much for the pointer, batch scripts are supported in Studio (you have to enable them from the options menu (at the bottom right corner of the box where you write the statements), from REST API and from Document API (use OCommandScript instead of OCommandSQL), but not in JDBC.

great. That is very cool. Thanks for the hints.
Is there an issue for orient jdbc driver? Or could I create one on github?
I thing this would be a reasonable feature request for JDBC and IMHO not that complicated to implement.

As I see now my expectation of JDBC is just wrong (I havent been using such low level stuff for a long while):
