Dear Darci,

Here are a few words in Purépecha, and their English and Spanish translations:
Purépecha                                                  English                Spanish
Najtsï na eránsku (nahtsee na eranskoo) Good morning      Buenos días
Pauani jamberi (pa-oo-anee hamberee)         See you tomorrow  Hasta mañana
Ninderia (Neen deh ree-ah)                          Goodbye                Adiós
Dios meiamekua (dee-os me-ee-ah-me-koo-ah) Thank you          Gracias

Greetings,
We are seeking assistance in learning how to say "Good Morning" in the Purepecha/Tarascan Language.  My son has an opportunity to speak at his Junior High School graduation, opening with Good Morning in a language other than English.  Cody has chosen the Purepecha Language because of his father's ancestors that were born and raised in the Patamban & Zamora areas of Michoacan, Mexico.
Thanks in advance,
Darci & Cody Nuñez
