Ihave never had this problem, however, I always run my registry cleaner and check registry software. Is there a way to deactivate the registry cleaner from removing the registry keys though? The only time I had issues with Autocad I uninstalled it and after cleaning the computer installed it again, and everything went smoothly. Maybe you should try to install it on another computer to see if it works, because if it does, then it's something wrong with your computer. Hope it helps you to fix it.

I have a desktop with win 7 Pro installed on & had/have Autocad 2013 Mech installed on & working fine. Then I ran Wise Registry Cleaner on that came up with lots of problems which I had the reg cleaner fix. Well after the Cleaner did its job shortly after went to use Autocad & first error prompted : D3Dcomplier_43.dll missing can't find. So ent out on the web & installed the WIndows DirectX that installed the Dll file. Rebooted & attempted to run Autocad again & got error: Autocad won't start, I had got the Splash screen with First Initializing then the error. Opened Wise & restored Reg file but restoring the file didn't help same Won't Start. Reserach agin on web about the 2 stored Autocad creates when it gets registered may be corrupted to rename "*.old". Well that didn't work, so with that said I Uninstall 2013 Autocad & Fusion rebooted & re installed Autocad & Components rebooted

To get anything out of a full Uninstall/Reinstall you need to follow AutoDesk's instructions on their website on how to do a CLEAN uninstall. It involves a bit of manual reg cleaning. Just doing the WIndows uninstall doesn't do away with all the old files all the time. Then, if they are still there, the reinstall won't overwrite them. This leaves you with pretty much the same program code you started with, some of which has gotten bad data in it from the fact that the *.dll file was missing.

If that doesn't do it, you need to do a Clean Uninstall and/or Remove Autodesk Software (Windows). Also, How to do an automatic clean uninstall for Autodesk Fusion 360, if that doesn't work, How to do a manual clean uninstall of Autodesk Fusion 360

I'm a glutton for punishment, I have tried a "repair" no help & I supposedly did a Registry Restore but it also failed. I even could not "do a "Restore" as some how the "Restore" function got disabled & had no restore points, one issue after another. I did do an uninstall of the Autocad & Fusions & new install also to no avail, there's something I just can't find the cause of my issues. No registry Cleaners again for sure. I am trying now uninstalling all Auto desk programs I have & will address Auto desk Clean Install if anything I was doing wrong, thanks so much for the help, any further tips let me know, need all the help I can to get up & running all my drawings are in limbo!

You may have a corrupted Windows Registry key (perhaps do to an overly aggressive Registry Cleaner). Did you follow this recommendation by AutoDesk? "For Windows products, download, install, and run the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter."

I would also suggest running the DirectX installer again or better yet follow this Guide for fixing the original "D3Dcomplier_43.dll missing can't find" error. I would also suggest reloading the drivers for your graphics card.

D3Dcomplier_43.dll missing seems to be common on gaming sites for missing from DirectX and besides the OP I haven't seen any references to Registry Cleaner use causing it. This may be a completely unrelated problem.

I get no other error messages just Autocad can't run. I will try the Framework & Compiler suggestions. Just for FYI I use Virtual Box & I created a Win 7 Pro environment & my Autocad installed & works fine. Something I just can't find is hanging up a

new install on my system I can't find. I am following instructions on the link below on a clean install from Autodesk that I'll see if it helps, although I have already tried other Clean Install procedures this one differs a little from the others. Any other tips are gratefully appreciated! Thanks

I would look into reinstalling and/or updating or maybe rollback on the drivers for your graphics card, because Virtual Box uses it's own drivers it would bypass driver problems. Your Original problem "D3Dcomplier_43.dll" is also Graphics related.

Ran the DirectX informed me I had the latest, I did the Microsoft .Net uninstall & reinstall. My video driver is an old one 12/2012 Intel. About ready to try another install will be in touch! I can't thank all of you enough for the help!

I uninstalled some programs I didn't use anymore & when I restarted after uninstall had a message pop up "path not found " to one just uninstalled. So I thought the cleaner would remove the lines in the Registry to that program so I wouldn't recite that message at startup. Yea that worked fine!

When I looked into your original problem, D3Dcomplier_43.dll missing, most showed this problem after removing/installing programs, one of the programs you uninstalled probably used that .dll also. I am not so sure the cleaner was the culprit.

Just run the installer that you have downloaded from Autodesk App Store. It will create the C:/ProgramData/Autodesk/ApplicationPlugins/TotalLength.bundle folder containing the TotalLength files.Open a drawing in AutoCAD.The TotalLength ribbon button is located in the Add-ins tab. It could happen that you have several Add-ins tabs if you have installed several plugins from Autodesk App Store.Alternatively, you could type _Totall in the command line - this command also starts the TotalLength dialog. If the TotalLength.bundle folder exists but the _Totall command is not working, maybe you are using AutoCad LT - it does not support AutoLISP plugins (TotalLenght is an AutoLISP plugin)

Hi, Dragos! There are 2 things you could try:1. Type (vl-load-com) in your command line, then run the _totall command. If the plug-in works this way, please contact me at autoro...@gmail.com, I hope that I'll be able to find a solution for your problem.2. Suspected cause of the problem could be having run some registry cleaner or anti-virus that deleted vital registry settings that AutoCAD needs. Repair or reinstallation of AutoCAD could help(from this article: -error-no-function-definition.html )Best regards,Antonia

If all of the above are true, open the list of installed applications in Windows settings and check if Ornatrix is still present there.

If not, use some registry cleaner or automatic uninstaller tool to remove it.

When deciding which registry cleaner to download and use, first consider what your actual needs are, as sometimes free platforms may only provide basic options, so if you need to use advanced tools you may find a paid platform is much more worthwhile. Additionally, free and budget software options can sometimes prove limited when it comes to the variety of tools available, while higher-end software can really cater for every need, so do ensure you have a good idea of which features you think you may require.

First, you need to understand that just about every single action that you take on your computer leaves a trail. Installing, uninstalling, and even just modifying programs can leave useless junk files cluttering your device. If not removed, these can cause a range of issues, including decreased performance and major errors.

Whether you're using a desktop or laptop, we take a close look at some of the best registry cleaners available for Windows. These programs are all designed to scan your computer, identify useless files, and help you remove them. This, in turn, will help improve long-term speed and performance.

Fortect can help you scan, repair, and optimize registry entries, leading to smoother system operation and faster response times. It can help identify issues such as PC freeze, error messages, a blue screen of death, and slow performance. Try Fortect today with this limited-time deal.

Fortect is a great all-arounder, and it starts with the ease of installation, which is in our experience really smooth. This extends to the user interface, which is modern and allows a quick full scan the moment you run the app for the first time. Once the initial scan is done, you can choose to fix all issues or individually decide which things you want the app to handle. It also enables you to conduct a comprehensive scan of your entire system, assessing the health status of your computer and identify all areas that require repair or replacement. Utilizing its cutting-edge operating system repair technology, Fortect compares your device's OS with a newer version to precisely pinpoint the components that need enhancement.

Fortect has a stand-out feature that identifies issues such as PC freeze, error messages, a blue screen of death, and even slow performance. It can even recognize abnormal hardware noise and top things off with malware protection in real-time. While it may sound as a perfect solution, the only drawback that we have seen is its pricing.

CCleaner is an excellent option for those looking for a basic free registry cleaner. According to the company website, the program has been downloaded more than 2.5 billion times, which clearly shows how popular it is.

One of the main reasons for this popularity is the broad selection of tools that comes with the free version. These include full registry scanning and optimization features, and the beginner-friendly Easy Clean mode is excellent for those with little tech experience.

Although most registry cleaners tend to be quite beginner-friendly and easy to use, AVG TuneUp stands out as being specifically targeted at tech newbies. It offers a suite of performance optimization tools, with noteworthy features including an automatic maintenance optimizer, recommendations for actions that you should be taking, and a secure file shredder.
