Hello all,

As I think many of you heard, the market garden apprentice left a couple of months ago and we've been working flat out ever since with the help of some great short-term staff. We've decided to replace him with an assistant grower, initially for a year and hopefully extended as we start to rake in the millions from those 4 acres of swede i'm planting out.

We've gone for an assistant grower rather than an apprentice because we want someone with commercial growing experience and a proven passion for food and farming. Someone who is ready to provide enthusiasm, input ideas and help the market garden to fulfill the potential it has so much of.

I know there are many great folks working there way through GC and organic lea and I hoped you'd pass this on to anyone you think might be suitable, and through any networks you think might be relevant.
