So these are two practice problems Greg went over on Saturday at office hours that I found useful. I copied the answers down from another sheet of paper, so I may have messed up, but I'm 99% sure these are right. Also note that I did not really indicate stereochemistry all that well. Some of these give mixtures of stereoisomers, but I indicate relative stereochemistry where important. (Sn2, OsO4, SOCl2 etc)

hi Matt,

just a quick correction on the stereochemistry for the 2nd practice problem -- for final 2 steps with SOCl2 and CN(-), the terminal primary C (C-Cl and C-CN) is not chiral, so there is no inversion of configuration. hope this makes sense.
