There are still some local items available:
Lacinato @ $2,10
Collards @ $2.10
Spring Mix @ $4.90 (price just went down)
Dandelion @ $2.10

Also Pure Cranberry Juice is listed. Only 23% markup on these as they
are expensive anyway being only cranberry juice, but I want it
available for me so I have reduced the mark up. The real thing. Pure
Organic Cranberry Juice. Great for the kidneys.
Almonds by the pound
Bartlet Pears
Costa Rica Golden Pineapples

As the weather changes the farming moves north creating the seasonal
shift in crop harvest areas. And for the next week or so, the changes
are happening! In South Florida, some of the spring crops such as
lettuces and greens are finishing up the spring harvest within the next
few days. North Florida the weather is still good for our spring local
produce. The Georgia harvest is due to begin within the next week or
ten days…and thus..a gap in supply is likely on items like Romaine
Lettuce. We are attempting to fill the gap with western product…except
the transition is also occurring right now out there as well. The
California crops have finished in the south and are moving up the
coast. Unfortunately it has been cool and wet in the central part of
the state and things are starting a little slowly out there as well.
So, many products are in tight supply / limited availability and
pricing is up.
This happens to some degree every year, and it is a short lived problem
followed by some absolutely outstanding fresh organic fruits and
vegetables.
Have a beautiful week, and if you ate today, thank your LOCAL farmers
all across the nation.
