Could you please ASAP convert the enclosed poster into .pdf format, which is what Gnomon needs to make copies, and then return it to me ? It’s now in DOC format.
I will then order 35 copies to be printed by Gnomon in color. Order to be put on OHS account, to be reimbursed by the Orford Day Committee. Copies should be available by Thursday afternoon. I will pick them up.
Eva: Can you help put them up? Others?
Robb: I don’t know who is doing a proof for a sign at the Bridge Street/Main Street intersection. Terry: is it you ?
Carl and all,
Here is the final schedule. I will let you e-mail this to Gnomon Copy since I assume it will be going through the OHS as the 250th does not have an account. Also, I have not seen a proof of the poster for Bridge Street. I assume that this is in the works? One more question is who is planning on picking up the copies? It looks like Carl and Eva will post them up around Town, is this correct?
-Robb
Gnomon will need the poster in .pdf format.
Carl
Dear Robb — and All:
Enclosed below is the schedule poster, in .rtf format, which reflects a couple of revisions I suggest we make.
I was not able to insert the logo at the top. If need be, I’ll bet Ted can do that.
In order to make it more “official” and avoid duplication in putting up the posters around town, I recommend that it be emailed to Gnomon Hanover (Gnomon Copy <han...@gnomoncopy.net>) with a request that they print the necessary copies for us. It can’t cost very much.
Also, based on Orford Historical Society practice, here below are the places I recommend we post them. Eva is experienced in doing the posting and I will be glad to lend a hand. Maybe others can help, as well. As Ann suggested last night, would be good to put up a few in neighboring towns, as well.

Here is the schedule. Please let me know of any corrections and I will insert them. After 9:00 on Wednesday evening I will finalize the poster and send it out to you all. I would ask that everyone try to print a few and put them up around the area.
Thanks,
Robb

Robb – sorry I’ve been in class since Monday with no access to email. The 2’ x 3’ poster was very simple with 4 pieces of information on – no distracting logos or elements that make it hard to read, only key points (as discussed), see text below. Poster has been printed and laminated, will be delivered this evening and I will put up at the head of Bridge Street.
ORFORD DAY
Saturday, August 13
9:00 am – 9:00 pm
On The Common
Believe the cost was $18.30, and has been charged to OHS because, as you pointed out below, 250th doesn’t have an account. I’ve informed Mark (to who all Gnomon invoices are sent) so he knows it is coming.
Thanks,
Paula
