For those of you who have volunteered to help and for those who would like to, here is our schedule for Saturday.

0830 Meet at lower parking lot at school to get final instructions

0845-0900 deploy for parking duty and school duty

This is a walking procession rather than a driving one, so we are not expecting fire equipment - pumpers, ladder trucks, etc.  Instead, fire fighters are expected to arrive in other fire department vehicles (i.e. pickup trucks) or their own vehicles.

Parking will be in the Community Field lot, the lower parking lot and upper parking lot at the school, then part of the West Common and the East Common.  Other parking on Route 10 and Route 25A as needed.  The idea is to keep aisles open and get many vehicles on the common.  There will be no parking on Archertown road.  There will be police assistance for directing traffic and general traffic control.

Several of you want to go to the service.  That is of course great.  I will need a few to help get people moving from the staging area - the lower parking lot at the school and the school gym - then we're done.
