NREGA Sangharsh Morcha has decided to file a case in the Supreme Court to demand the following rights for NREGA workers:

• 150 days work and government to ensure all workers get work or unemployment allowance.
• Clearing back wages and ensuring wages within 15 days or compensation to workers.
• Reducing work output in the coming months by 25-50%.
• Raising the issue of minimum wages and asking why Rs. 375 cannot be given to workers
• Registration of NREGA workers in BOCW, so that they get social security (hospital cost and medical expenses).

The case will be put in the name of NREGA Sangharsh Morcha on 14 June. For the case, a survey of vulnerable families is required (about 50 vulnerable families per state). The survey has to be completed by 12 June. The link for the questionnaire is: https://forms.gle/EQU4TowWsKZ5LDor6

We are very sorry for the very tight timeline of the survey. But we hope that your union will be able to interview vulnerable families in the next 2-3 days. We also hope that your union will agree to be a part of the petitioner. For that purpose, please share the following information about your union:

• Name of a contact person in the union
• Phone number of the contact person
• Email of the union/contact person
• Address of the union

नरेगा संघर्ष मोर्चा ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में नरेगा मज़दूरों के निम्नलिखित मांगों के लिए केस दायर करने का निर्णय लिया है:

● सरकार द्वारा सभी मज़दूरों को150 दिन काम अथवा बेरोजगारी भत्ता सुनिश्चित कराया जाए।
● पिछले भुगतानों का निस्तारण तथा मज़दूरों को 15 दिन के भीतर वेतन एवं मुआवज़ा सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
● आने वाले महीने में कार्य उत्पादन में 25-50% कमी की जाए।
● न्यूनतम वेतन मुल्य 375 रुपये की मांग को उठाया एवं इसे अभी तक लागू न करने का प्रशन किया जाए।
● BOCW के तहत नरेगा मज़दूरों का पंजीकरण किया जाए ताकि उन्हें सामाजिक सुरक्षा (अस्पताल एवं स्वास्थ्य खर्च) मुहैया कराई जा सके।

14 जून को केस नरेगा संघर्ष मोर्चा के नाम से दायर किया जाएगा। इस केस के लिए प्रति राज्य लगभग 50 कमज़ोर परिवारों के सर्वेक्षण की ज़रूरत है। इस सर्वेक्षण को12 जून तक  खत्म करने की आवश्यकता है। प्रश्नावली दिए गए लिंक पर मौजूद है:

हम इस बेहद कठिन समयरेखा के लिए खेद जताते हैं। परन्तु हम आशा करते हैं कि आपका यूनियन अगले 2-3 दिन में कमज़ोर परिवारों के बीच इंटरव्यु कर पाएगा। हम यह भी आशा करते हैं कि आपका यूनियन याचिकाकर्ता में शामिल होने की सहमति प्रदान करेगा। इसके लिए अपने यूनियन की निम्नलिखित सूचनाएँ प्रदान कीजिए:
