It has also come to light that one of the members of the investigating
group held back some information. The person I was talking about was
touched on the back they believe. They were with a group and near some
furniture but far away from the furniture in the surrounding area.
They felt like they were touched hard on the back. The person then
turned and looked around and the nearest piece of furniture was at
least 6' away.
I bring this up become the member was unsure if it happened or not.
Like maybe it was a faulty impression or imagination. It is important
to document all of these things because maybe another investigator had
the same experience. I can assure you that everyone who isn't very
aware brushes many occurrences off to their imagination.
Being half believer and half skeptic I have to admit minor things you
can just hand aside and ignore. Getting a door slammed in your face
and finding nothing on the other side can change the way you perceive
things. The important thing to remember is that like a scientist in a
laboratory we as researchers need to collect information, observe and
document. Does your data point to a conclusion? Just because
hauntings are not always repeatable doesn't mean they are not relevant
scientifically. Ball lighting and volcanoes are not able to be
reproduced scientifically it doesn't invalidate their existence.
Observe and document that is the most important thing we can do.
