U-Choose forum, 1/5/2010

On Tuesday evening I'll be manning an OIR table at the U-Choose event
in Beaverton. The theme of the event is measures 66 and 67 -- these
are the new, permanent Oregon tax measures that we helped put on the
Jan 24th ballot with the signature-gathering event in downtown
Portland last year. (If we hadn't forced them to be on the ballot,
they would simply be law, without a vote!)

I've purchased some new softcovers of Atlas and Fountainhead and
Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal that I'll be able to sell at the U-
Choose event. My plan is to slightly discount them, for example $10
for a book that cost $15 from Amazon.
