Andrew Bernstein speaking tour for _Capitalism Unbound_ in November

month for several speaking events. Most importantly right now is that
we get a head count for those potentially interested in attending a
private 4-hour lecture on "How to Be an Impassioned Valuer" in
Portland, probably in someone's house, for $50. This would be on
Saturday, November 20th, in the afternoon. Separately, we may go out
to dinner afterwards with Dr. Bernstein.
1) **Please email me ASAP if you are interested in this Saturday
lecture, including the likelihood that you will attend.** We need to
establish a sufficient headcount to plan this event. This is a very
rare opportunity to hear a top-notch Objectivist intellectual speaking
in Portland. A description of the lecture is available if you search
the Ayn Rand Bookstore site. (Note that he will likely be giving the
same lecture to Seattle NWO on Sunday 10/14.)
2) Other, public speaking events in or near Portland follow. Please
be thinking of friends to invite to one of these events with you. Dr.
Bernstein's book _Capitalism Unbound_ will be for sale at each event.

Thur 10/18 - 7AM, Montgomery Park building, Capitalism Unbound, 30
minutes
Thur 10/18 - 3pm, WSU Vancouver, Global Capitalism, 1 hour + Q&A
Thur 10/18 - 7pm, Mac Center, Capitalism Unbound, 45 mins + Q&A +
booksigning + dessert ($15 charge)
Sat 10/20 - 11am, TBD, Oregon Tea Party, Capitalism Unbound (this one
is iffy)

As I said, Jim and I will attend Bernstein's talk here. Do you have
plans to print flyers or posters? If so, do you have any costs yet?
Give me a figure, and I'll help to cover it.
I will plan to attend the PSU event, probably by myself.
Does Bernstein have lodging worked out?
Do you still want to use our house for a meeting place?
And lastly, a reminder: Rachel (or I) will be sending out a weekly
NWO announcement on Friday. That's a reasonably good place to drum up
as much support as possible.
