I am planning to host a booth/table on Monday 9/28/2009 7-9pm at the U-
Choose "Education Forum", with pamphlets about the necessary
separation of education and state, etc.
As far as I can tell, U-Choose is a new (maybe no more than 3 months
old) organization created by local Republicans. On their web site,
the list of "U-Choose Goals" is very vague, not naming *any* political
or philosophical opinions (!), so I am assuming for now that it's
stance is, by default, that of the Republican party. Multiple
organizations will be at the event, as well as a few speakers. I
don't see any issue of sanction here.
I doubt there will be more than a few dozen attendees. My purpose is
to proselytize for AR's conception of individual rights (OIR's
mission), and secondarily to learn about and network with the
individuals of other local organizations.
