Oregon Ptersotichus Pseudoferonina species

I am working working on a review of the Pterostichus Pseudoferonina species and would like very much to be able to examine any specimens OES members may have in their collections. The species in the subgenus are all endemic to the Pacific Northwest. There are ~10 known species. Three of them occur in the Coast and Cascade mountains of swWA and nwOR, the others in the Bitterroots of central Idaho.   All of the species appear to be acute habitat specialists: small and mid-sized forested streams. They tend to be rare in collections - in fact many of the last 10 carabids described from the Pacific Northwest are species of Pseudoferonina. Some of the species have very small geographic ranges, and the species appear unable to colonize previously glaciated terrain. If you are in the right area and right habitat at the right time of year they can be fairly easy to find.

 

I would especially like to see any specimens from Cacades and Coast ranges of central Oregon.
