Volunteer math tutors are needed for students (high school and middle school) from a local Karen refugee family. The kids need help with passing basic required mathematics classes. This is a wonderful family who have been through so much. Time spent helping them with their educational goals will be very helpful to them and also personally rewarding for the tutors. This volunteer opportunity is especially appropriate for college students, or even for high school students who are gifted in math and have some tutoring experience.
If you know any math teachers who are interested in Burma, please pass this along to them.
