On Tuesday, February 24, the US Public Broadcasting (PBS) science show NOVA will present "Rat Attack" about the bamboo flowering and rat population explosion famine crisis known as the Mautam. The documentary was filmed in India's Mizoram State, but conditions are even worse in the Chin (Zomi) regions of western Burma.
NOVA is usually shown at 8:00 PM, but check local (US) TV listings for the exact time and channel.
