Greetings Members-

Recently the OAMFT board has been speaking about ways to bring up the
integration and interaction of the google group. In the past we have
uploaded newsletters, brought you info on continuing educational
materials, provided a Q&A forum, and created a linked place to discuss
events at OAMFT/AAMFT and the Oregon Coalition. Lately though, things
have been quieter, which means it is a great time to ask, "what would
make this membership beneficial to you?"

One of the top things I want to see about when I check in with my
professional network is legislative updates. Forgive me if i just
haven't found it yet, but I look for clear, complete legislative
updates related to my profession-including things on the table being
lobbied, items recently passed and what was vetoed. The most I saw
when looking for items recently was a bit of congratulations on all
the work done to make changes in legislation happen but nothing about
the changes. I want to stay on top of what is new and relevant.

Additionally, as done in the CAMFT magazine, publication of the
disciplinary actions with details about what ethical and legal errors
were made are extremely helpful in bringing information to a working
profession about keeping on the correct side of the law.
