That explains why their credit card processing has been disabled for the last few days. vWorker holds the prize money in trust so I am sure things will sort themselves out over the next few days.
In the mean time we can use google groups to communicate.

We can communicate here of course, but they will revoke the money for you, they said that Contests' money will be returned to the creators again.

Hmm. I read it differently. They said the escrowed money would be moved to freelancer. In any case I will make sure the money is awarded to the winners, either through freelancer or bank transfer.l

Of course, I am not concerned about this at all. I am just telling you that you will have to create the contest from the beginning

From their doc:
What about my contests?
We will not be migrating active contests onto our platform. We will be refunding the contest amount back
to your balance and then our dedicated concierge will create a contest for you on the Freelancer.com
platform, waiving all fees. A concierge support member will be contacting you to assist.
