The ORCID–WACA Community of Practice (CoP) is a regional collaborative forum established under the ORCID–WACA Initiative, led by the West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) with support from the ORCID Global Participation Fund.

The CoP brings together researchers, librarians, repository managers, journal editors, publishers, research administrators, and other stakeholders to advance the adoption and integration of ORCID and other Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) across institutions in West and Central Africa.

This Google Group serves as a platform for members to share knowledge, experiences, challenges, and resources related to ORCID and PID adoption.
