I can not update works and affiliation ORCID by CURL :
curl -H "Content-Type: application/orcid+xml" -H "Authorization: Bearer 33202cab-4e03-4938-ad28-327eca53bb2b" -d "@D:\updated_works.xml" -X PUT https://api.sandbox.orcid.org/v1.2/0000-0002-5780-7855/orcid-works

I think this is a bug, can you check it ?

Hi,

Can you send the XML you're trying to PUT and the the call in a text format? I'll use that to test and see if I can figure out what's going wrong.

Hi,

The XML you sent doesn't contain any works data, it just has the identifier and orcid-history element. To post or put a work you'll need to include the work to be added or updated in the file. We have a document explaining the XML for orcid-works at http://members.orcid.org/api/xml-orcid-works
