We invite you to express interest in participating in a new API Technical Working Group.

About Technical Working Groups

From time to time we establish technical working groups for fixed, short periods of time to work on topics of strategic importance determined by the Technical Steering group in consultation with the Executive Director and ORCID Board. Individuals participating in these groups are expected to have the time, interest, and commitment to participate in the production of deliverables assigned to the group.

The API Technical Working Group

During 2015 we anticipate several updates, improvements and extensions to the ORCID APIs. We are establishing this working group to provide feedback and suggestions on API changes and on communication/migration plans, and to help communicate changes to the larger community.

We are looking for a few members of the community to join a subset of our Technical Steering Group in working through these issues.  Interested?  Please review the working group charter and fill out the interest form found at http://support.orcid.org/knowledgebase/articles/504776 by 20 March 2015.
