System Upgrade: Enhanced Security & Performance on Sandbox

Hello,

As part of our ongoing effort to strengthen the security of our platform, we will be updating infrastructure for the ORCID Registry sandbox on sandbox.orcid.org, including the Public and Member APIs.

There will be no changes to functionality during this update; however, there will be a period of degraded performance and a few minutes of downtime during the following window.

Friday, July 3, between 9 am and 11 am UTC

This will not affect production systems, and we will not need a similar window for production updates.

If you experience any issues with the Registry sandbox after this update, please reply to this thread or contact our Member Support at member...@orcid.org.
