Dear Members

How are you enjoying the hot summer at the Society premises? Take it lightly please!

We need some interested and energetic members to help the Society to take us some of the long pending and critical work. Are you interested, please email so that we can call you for a discussion. 

- Conveyance work has gone to the back burner. No one seems to be interested. Or are we waiting for the builder to add 10 more floors to our building and making our life miserable? We had sent a reminder a couple of months back after a lot of hassles, but nor reply as usual. We need to do something collectively. Our investment in the Flat is not protected unless we get the conveyance. We need to call for a Special General Body meeting to discuss this. But the claim should come from the members.

 - Security of the Society premises is in a very bad shape. Current security agency is not in a position to provide  able guards. A few months back we increased the wages per guard by 600 rupees, with his promise to improve the quality of guards. But it has gone to the worst - both in number and quality. rarely we have 4 guards on duty in a shift. Besides to fill the gap and claim the money, double duty has become a routine thing. How can a person do 11 days double duty in month. Its like every alternate day he is on 24 hours duty. The secret is we go off to sleep and they too take their turn! They admit it quietly. It is high time, we look for an alternative.

- Theft of electrical goods from Society premises has become routine. The whole tube light sets, the tubes, the starters, the bulbs are routinely being removed from almost all the wings. How do we deal with this situation?

- The electrical meter rooms have been converted into rooms for  cooking, sleeping, eating, storing goods, changing clothes and all other purposes, other than the one authorized by the electric Company. There could be fire hazards or accidents for which the Managing Committee and the Society will be put to great difficulty. No one seems to have noticed or bothered about it.

-  Sweepers do not clean the Staircase or its window glasses. They regularly take money for soap, cloth duster, mop, etc. There is no one to supervise.

We need to come forward to give some time for Society work. It is our Society. We live here. Our neighbourhood reflects our quality of life

JAGO GRAHAK JAGO !!!! SEEMS TO BE THE NEED OF THE HOUR IN TRUE SENSE.
 
ORCHID CONDITION RESEMBLES A CLASSIC EXAMPLE OF A FACTORY RUN BY MORE ADVISORS AND MANAGERS THAN WORKERS.
 
ITS HIGH TIME NOW WE WAKE UP AND TAKE UP THE ISSUE OF CONVEYANCE COLLECTIVELY IN A SERIOUS MANNER.
