Information regarding Mahanagar gas - bill payment /Name change in MGL record

Hello Members,
I am sure all you have collected the MGL bills from the society office last Sunday -if not- please contact office bearers.
Some important information which I want to share with you regarding this after talking to the call centre.

a) The website is under construction- please do not pay online (as per the CSR at the call centre). Post office will not accept as due date is over.
b) Please call up 1917/26594500 MGL call centre to get your latest bill on your email which you can pay as below.
Steps to pay:
a) Cheque in the name of "Mahanagar Gas Limited".
b) Write down your name, BP number and CA number (found on top right of the bill) and drop it to the nearest AXIS bank, HSBC bank or Standard Chartered ATM ( Axis is thre near Runwal I guess0.

Process to change the name from Kukreja to your own name in the bill (so bill comes directly to you):
a) Give customer service a call and ask for the transfer form (ill send it once I get it across)
b) Documents needed along with filled in transfer form:
a) possession letter copy
b) sale deed copy (first 5 and last 5 pages)
c) NOC from the builder (original) - this has to be got from Kukreja office (Aparna) as per our secretary.

I had given a humble request to the secretary to get the NOC for all the flats from Kukreja office by putting up a notice board.
Mr Garain- can you please enable this so 110 people don't have to go to the kukreja office to collect the NOC.

Dear aswin,

the NOC is to have an official seal  of Kukreja Cost. co also. Otherwise MGL will not accept.

After depositing the cheque you have to wait till the cheque is ccleared. and take the passbook xerox copy showing the clearance of cheque in the name of MGL and attach that copy along with the transfer form, NOC, possession letter.and copy of  agreement pages as stated. Last pages of agreement showing the signature of the flat owner & the page showing the flat owners photograph.
