How do I turn off the new Start Page in Capture 16.5????

The last thing I need is another auto-load web page that gags and
hangs the program I'm trying to run. There's no obvious switch for
this -- has anyone found the hidden switch?

I was getting tired of it too so I called tech support. Here is what
to do from their email.

To disable the "Start Page" when starting Capture, see the following
steps.

1. Open any design in Capture.
2. From the Menu bar, select "Accessories \ Cadence Tcl/Tk Utilities \
Utilities".
3. In the "Tcl/Tk Applications Dashboard", select 'Extended
Preferences' and press the Launch button.
4. In the column 'Settings', uncheck "Load web page on startup" and
then the 'OK' button a the bottom.

Thanks Ken! I also played around and found that you can hack the
Capture.INI file and set the EnableStartPage to FALSE. I like the UI
method that you found out about. It doesn't rely on wandering around
the Cadence directory to find the INI file. Plus, I turned off the
auto-check of my internet connection -- why do this with only one
stand-alone license...
