Greetings,
I have been using Orcad 10.5 for the past 8 years and have seen nothing like this. Maybe someone can help.
I have a six layer board with solder masks, solder pastes, etc. All layers enabled for post processing.
After running the post processor the .SMT layer is the wrong color and is basically empty. After that the
layers below it are processed correctly but their file extensions are all shifted down one.
Has anyone seen anything  like this? It's almost as if I'm processing a phantom layer.
Thanks.

Wow, I’ve never seen that.  Some sort of database corruption?  Was this file “made from” another board, and did the original one post processing correctly?  Did you add extra routing layers on this pass, then do something funky when trying to add those new layers to post processing?

It sounds like the fastest way to fix it would be to correct the .SMT colors manually, then simply rename the other file extensions to match what is really being plotted.

Of course, that doesn’t help with the concern of how/why it happened.
