Orbeon session timeout

Hello,

After upgrading to orbeon 2023.1.6 we are encountering issue regard session timeout - 440 response after being inactive on form for 5 minutes. Is there some configurable parameter so we could disable this feature or extend timeout?

Earlier we were on 2022.x 

In tomcat configuration our session length is 60 minutes.

Hi Jaanus,

Do you still have the following configuration in your `web.xml`? Is this what you meant by saying, "In the Tomcat configuration, our session length is 60 minutes"? Just checking to confirm. If so, are you saying that loading a form, waiting for six minutes, and then interacting with it results in an error?

        <session-timeout>60</session-timeout>
    </session-config>

Hi Jaanus,

It appears that you haven't changed the default configuration for the session length. I am attempting to reproduce this on the demo server, which is currently running Orbeon Forms 2023.1.6. I am loading the "All Form Controls" sample form, waiting for 10 minutes, and then am able to interact with the form without any errors. Are you saying that in your deployment, you encounter an error under the same scenario? If so, can you think of any differences between your deployment and a standard installation?

Hi Jaanus,

Out of curiosity, have you tried to reproduce the session timeout error by loading the "All Form Controls" sample form, waiting for 10 minutes, and then interacting with the form? If this doesn't trigger the session timeout dialog, it would be helpful to identify what conditions are required to reproduce the problem.
