Is there a formula I can use in the action editor to cause actions to be executed when the form is new but also when I'm testing the form in form builder?

Hi Aaron,

Yes, the actions you define in Form Builder's Action Editor do run in Test, unless you mark them to run in "new" mode only. Are you seeing something different?

No, that is exactly the behavior I see. When I mark actions to run only in new mode, they do not run in test. This is inconvenient for testing the actions. Ideally, I could make actions run in new mode and in test. That is why I'm wondering if there is a formula I could use that would evaluate to true in both cases.

In test, the mode is `"test"`, so you can use the formula `fr:mode() = ('new', 'test')`.
