I just bought a new Chromebook. I love it! But, it doesn't allow me to download my Big Fish games so I can play them. It gave me an error that says : "bigshishgamesp120534138s1_l1.exe this file is not supported. Please visit chrome web store to find an applications that can open this type of file." How can I fix this in order to play the games?
Unfortunately, the Google Chromebook is using a proprietary operating system that can't open \ run EXE files. This means that there is no way to run your games from Big Fish on the Chromebook. For this device, you can find compatible games by accessing the official Store.
TO BIG FISH GAMES I have close to 100 games.....you better get in touch with google and find a way to open all the games I paid for. This should not become something we have to fix. Work it out!!!!! I do not plan on buying more games, I want to play the games I paid for.
Hi,
I just bought this chromebook and can not access any of my Big Fish Games. Please help. I purchased more games just before I bought this chromebook and they are still charging my account the monthly fee.
I found that Google play for Androids is the only way to play games. I too have purchased so many games and don't want to have to repurchase. An operating system fix needs to be accomplished by Big Fish. More voices aare need to get this done!!!!
I would like to know how to play mahjong artifacts chapter 2 on my chromebook too. It is very convenient to play mobile games, as it can be done anywhere, even in traffic jams. On the site -slots-no-download/ I recently learned about Free Slots No Download, which I am actively playing now. on the site you can read information about them, watch the review and try to play.
I also just bought this Chromebook, if I knew I couldn't download/play BFG , I would never had purchased it, its sad to say but Computers are starting to have grudges (human factor), please please find a way to support BIG FISH GAMES on CHROME, it just doesn't make any sense, I can't download my FAVORITE APPS , for what reason?
Please tell me in this day and age that there is a way to play my Big Fish Games on my Chromebook. I love the chrome book but I also love my Big Fish Games. I know with the technology out there that there is a way to fix this.
Go Fish is a simple game that is popular with children (my 6 year old son for example). There are many variations of it, the rules here describe how it works in this game. It may not be exactly the way you are used to playing.ObjectiveTo collect as many "books" as possible. A book is four cards of the same rank. The player with the most books at the end of the game wins.Dealing and setupThe game can be played by 2 - 4 players. First cards are dealt to the players, if there are 2 players then each gets 7 cards, if there are 3 players then each gets 6 cards and if there are 4 players then each gets 5 cards. Once the dealing is done the rest of the deck is put in a random pile on the table.Asking and fishingThe initial player is selected at random. The player can then ask one of the other players for a particular rank. For example, you might ask Bill if he has any sixes. You may only ask for ranks that you already have at least one card of. E.g. if you don't have any sixes yourself you can't ask for them. If Bill has any sixes, then he must give them to you, and you get another turn and can ask again. If Bill doesn't have any sixes then he will tell you to "Go Fish" which means that you will draw one card from the pile on the table. If you get a six, then you show it to the other players and get to play again. If you get anything else you are finished with your turn and the player next to you plays.ScoringIf you have 4 of the same rank then you show the cards to the other players, and then place the four cards in a pile next to you. This is called a book. The player with the most books at the end of the game wins.Drawing new cardsIt can happen that you finish all the cards in your hand, either because someone else asked you for the last cards that you had, or you just got a book made up of your last four cards. If you have no cards then you can draw new cards from the pile on the table, the same number of cards as you got at the start of the gameIf there are three or four players then it can happen that one of them finishes their cards and there are no cards left in the pile for him to draw. In that case he is out of the game and will simply have to wait while the remaining players finish the game.StrategyNot much to say here. Just watch what the other players are asking for so you can know what cards they definitely have. If you're playing with more than two players make sure to pay attention to what the other players ask each other for and what they say Go Fish too, that way you can learn which cards they definitely have and which cards they definitely don't have.

It's ideal for someone like my father who only uses a laptop for checking his emails and playing solitare. Something like a thinkpad (what I have) would be a waste of money for him because of his very limited computer skills.
The Best analysis engine for Chrome OS (chomrebooks, chromeboxes..) is lichess. It is online-based, and provide a decent analysises for your games. I think it uses bits of the strongest engines out there so as to provide something decent for all players.
True, but chromebooks can in fact do more than just web browsing. But a lot of people doesn't know it. You have a file manager, a native video player that can play various types of files locally on the computer and a bunch of preloaded apps. But yeah, Google rely on the web as THE platform and hence doesn't need a full-fledged OS running legacy softares. But isn't live/online chess mostly web-based anyway? With a membership on chess.com you get pretty much all the tools that are needed to become a decent chess player. What's missing are the most powerful engines bundled as web apps but until then, lichess isn't bad by any mean..
they can be useful despite the obvious limitations. Compared 2 nice labtops are they cheap, i only paid 150 dollars for mine (on sale) and i can use youtube @ twitch/ running whenever i want/ both are sites which will slow down my computer, they work well for just web browsing. Also (stockfish) for Lichess is a great resource, u can change the settings to show 4 lines of infinite analysis/ u might have to write down your own notes and lines on a separate folder though
