I created a patch that supports synonyms.
For example, now you can create a wrapper for SYS.DBMS_UTILITY as
non-sys user.

Yes, they do. That's actually the meaning of the ALL_* views. They
contain all the objects (tables, views, ...) the user can access.

to know. The geniuses on the oracle newsgroup concur also.
