smtp.gmail.com:465 is not responding.

Hi, 

When I check the SMTP settings, I get this error:

php_openssl in php.ini is enabled 

smtp.gmail.com:465 is not responding.



Simple Email Caught exception: Network is unreachable

Template Email Caught exception: Network is unreachable

My Config is: 

define("SMTP_HOST", "ssl://smtp.gmail.com");
define("SMTP_PORT", "465");
define("SMTP_UNAME", "my_...@gmail.com");
define("SMTP_PWORD", "******");

The pass didn't contain $

Eny ideas ?

Can you please check SSL is enabled in your server?
And also please check 465 port is available or not.

SSL enabled, port 465 enabled, "allow less secure apps enabled" and password dont contain any symbol.. :(

Hi Stoyan

Can you please tell me which server you are using?
If you are using any hosting service provider, then please contact them as some of them has filtered many ports. So server cannot communicate to the Mail server.
