Hi,

I just installed the free download version of orange scrum on XAMPP. OS version I have installed on is Windows Server 2016. Orange scrum version is PHP 7.2.17 version.

I am unable to login to the orange scrum instance! What have I not followed?

The only thing I feel I wasn't able to locate for the general config instructions is to turn STRICT mode off in my SQL. How do I do that? Which is the folder/file I have to look for?

Quick help appreciated!

Regards
Prithvi

I think I also could not figure out how to have apache in `mod_rewrite` mode.

So httpd.conf already has the desired settings for mod_rewrite I guess. It is like this:
============================================================
.
.
.

#LoadModule request_module modules/mod_request.so

#LoadModule reqtimeout_module modules/mod_reqtimeout.so

LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

#LoadModule sed_module modules/mod_sed.so

#LoadModule session_module modules/mod_session.so

.
.
.
==============================================================

Hi Soumya,

The SQL setting was in place and I used 127.0.0.1 instead of local host in the address bar. But I seem to have hit upon a new problem for a fresh install! Can you help?

I installed another instance just now and I am coming across a different problem! After following the configuration steps, I typed "http://127.0.0.1/orangescrum-master/" in the browser and enter details for SMTP config in the login page and submit, I get a "Cannot display webpage error" as shown below:

Not sure why this error since I have followed all config steps just like last time.

I cleared the config in the database.php file and tried accessing the http://localhost/orangescrum-master URL again. It brought up the DB configuration page. Even on entering correct DB details and giving all read/write/execute permissions on all folders and sub-folders of orangescrum-master, the below URL keeps saying DB details entered is incorrect!

I am running into a series of problems here. Really need to get this working. Would appreciate a quick reply! thanks!!
