I have a copy of a handwritten family background of Ahmad Melaka ( my great great great grandfather mother's side ) family background translated into Rumi from Jawi written by Haji Abdul Hamid bin Ahmad Melaka ( Ahmad Damanhuri's (Man) from Ampang Jaya grandfather). I asked him for it so we could understand better the link. I will make a copy and give it to As.

 

Ahmad Melaka was the son of Dato' Kaya Andaman who ruled in Tanah Rawa, Pulau Perca, Daerah Sungai Renyar Suku Seri Maharajalela. He was taken by his mother to Malacca 'merajuk kerana sentiasa bermadu'. Real name Mohd Nor but known as Ahmad Melaka (nickname) as he later moved to Penang and Perak and people thought he was from Malacca esp since he married a Malaccan by name of Wan Fatimah Bte Sheikh Hassan Baradzwan.
