He is an prominent young labor journalist and I am attaching his bio and some of his clips below. Any interested faculty and students are invited to attend, so please bring this to the attention of your classes or any advisees you think might like to hear Josh speak.

 

Josh Eidelson covers labor as a contributing writer at Salon and In These Times. He is a contributor at The American ProspectAlternet, and Dissent. His work has appeared in publications including The NationDollars and Sense and Slate. He appears frequently as a commentator on labor and politics; he has discussed his work on outlets including MSNBC, Democracy Now, and public radio.

After receiving his MA in Political Science from Yale in 2006, he spent five years as a union organizer for UNITE HERE, organizing in hotels, food service, and gaming in Sacramento, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. His website is josheidelson.com.
