Hey Everyone,

Professor Berggren wanted Nick and I to forward this information to all of you in case you haven't heard of the opportunities in Cornell in Washington:

Dear Student:

I would like to invite you to the Cornell in Washington information meeting. We will be meeting next Monday (October 1) at 4:45 PM in 165 McGraw. We’ll provide a brief overview of the program, and you will have a chance to ask questions of former Cornell in Washington participants.

If you can’t make the meeting (or even if you can), take a look at our new video. Students from last spring helped us put this together. I think you will enjoy it.http://ciw.cornell.edu/ciw_page.cfm?pageName=p3_1&CFID=4271925&CFTOKEN=40240811

Washington has an amazing array of work opportunities that are ideal for a student interested in communications. Possibilities include,

Booz Allen Hamilton
Crosby-Volmer International Communications
The Advertising Council
Emily’s List
MDB Communications
The Washington Post
Octagon Sports

Of course, there are also plenty of other opportunities in the federal government. For example,

Federal Trade Commission
Department of Treasury
Food and Drug Administration
Federal Reserve Board

And those are just examples. You may find something more interesting.

Take a look at Cornell in Washington.  You can learn more about us by going to our website at http://www.ciw.cornell.edu/ and by going to the information meeting noted above.

Sincerely,

Robert Hutchens

Director
