The Cornell Forensics Society (CFS) is hosting back to back public debates on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Monday features an executive VP of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) facing off against two Cornell students, debating whether sex or celebrities should be used in advertising. This is the third time Cornell Forensics and PETA will face off; the previous times have been incredibly fun, and this years topic promises some interesting and dynamic clash. The event occurs Monday at 6pm in Ives 305. Come early, there's sure to be a crowd.

Tuesday pits Democratic candidate for Congress in Cornell's district, Nate Shinagawa, against the Cornell Republicans, moderated by the CFS. Tuesday's event will be at 8pm in Ives 305.

Both will be good examples of competitive persuasion from professionals and students alike.
