OTL Workflow Customization

Dear All

Hope you doing well !

I would request if you can share any document on OTL workflow customization.

We need to stop the supervisor hierarchy approval flow to be going to CEO,with few other validation.

I have got the basic details from user guide in that we can copy seeded workflow process OTC_APPROVAL_SEEDED_WF.

I would appreciate If I can get more details on that and the correct approach to be followed.

Hi Harsh,

 

Check AME rules. You can stop notification going to a specific position / group by it.

 

No need of customizing the workflow using WF Builder.

Is it possible to use AME with OTL,

As I was under the impression that AME cannot be used with OTL and also as per metalink note given below.

Nice Info. It was news to me, as I was under impression that if you are using supervisor hierarchy, it will be using the standard HR Approval workflow.

 

If this is the case, you may have to write a code at the approval node, checking if the next approval person is CEO route it to some other user or auto approve it.

 

I dont have a definate document around it but need to check the workflow.
