Objective Weightage Validation of 100 percent in PMS

Dear All

 

I would appreciate if any one can throw some light on,and has come across requirement of putting Validation of 100 % on Objective weightage in PMS.

 

Each objective has some weightage value, (Say objective 1 is 30, Objective 2 is 40, Objective 3 is 15, Objective 4 is 15). So, here, the total weightage for all objective is 100%. If the user enters more than 100%, it should show an error.

 

I have tried User hooks,but it is not working as objective data is not commtitng to database while creating from front end.It only gets committed when it is transfered to worker or objective setting is finished.and client doesnt want to do personalization.

 

Please give some inputs on the  same.
