Location: St. Antonio, Texas

Duration: 3+ Months

Primary Skills: SharePoint technologies 2003 and exposure to 2007, including MOSS 2007.  XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Visual Studio, IIS, SQL Server, C# Programming exp., ASP.NET,

 

Secondary Skills: SQL, stored procedures and triggers, Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, esp. in conjunction with SharePoint interactivity

 

Summary:

Candidates must have 2+ years of hands–on experience with implementing Microsoft SharePoint Technologies in a leadership position

 

Job Description:

•             Scope and plan SharePoint portal implementation

•             SharePoint Design & Implementation- Translate requirements from users and other stakeholders into optimal, easy-to-use solutions within the SharePoint Enterprise Portal.  Design and develop SharePoint master pages, templates and layouts.  Build custom web parts to aggregate content and services within an enterprise portal.

•             Integration- Integrate existing firm-wide applications, databases, and other data sources with the Enterprise

•             Evaluate and integrate 3rd party plug-ins with the Portal.

•             Architecture and maintenance of the SharePoint server farm infrastructure.

•             Customization of the SharePoint Server 2007 environment using web technologies including .Net and SharePoint Designer.

 

  Technical Skills:

•             3+ years experience with implementing SharePoint technologies 2003 and exposure to 2007, including MOSS 2007.

•             3+ years experience with web services, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.

•             Experience with Visual Studio, IIS, SQL Server.

•             2+ years C# programming experience.

•             2+ years ASP.NET programming experience;

•             2+ years experience developing browser based applications.

•             Fundamental understanding of database concepts, including SQL, stored procedures and triggers.

•             Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, esp. in conjunction with SharePoint interactivity

•             Experience with Microsoft Content Management and Indexing/Search functionality a plus

•             Practical experience in software development methodologies and processes: including user interface design, site design, software design techniques, requirements gathering, and software test.

•             Experience with development of a portal or collaborative applications are a must.

•             A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, ideally in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.

•             Excellent problem solving and analytical/technical troubleshooting skills.

  Education:

Bachelors Degree or higher, ideally in computer science or related field is preferred.

Certification with SharePoint portal is preferred
