Role: SOA Admin with WebLogic

Location: McLean, VA

Duration: 6+ months Contract

 

• Development background with Middleware admin experience in SOA/OSB or Weblogic and Apache/Tomcat
• Passion for automation of support tasks and improvement of existing processes/procedures; Experience modifying complex Unix shell scripts for automation and monitoring of middleware applications. 
• Experience troubleshooting application issues related to middleware integration. 
• Working knowledge in using WLST commands
• Working knowledge in using Distributed Queue Management 
• Working knowledge of Clustering 
• Experiencing in J2EE and web-application deployment.
• Experience in performance testing of J2EE applications.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute cross-team projects involving middleware in large enterprise environment. 
• Experience working with LDAP, SSL and networking concepts
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
• Experience with service Now other ticketing system 
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; will be required to document activities and any new support processes developed

 

Desired skills:

• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite development 
• IBM Web Services Gateway administration experience 
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manage
