Position: Sr. Network Engineer/Lead Network Engineer

Location: Burbank, CA – King’s Mountain, NC (Will except GC Holder) – North Hollywood, CA – Philadelphia, PA – Plano, TX – San Diego, CA

Duration: 6+months

Responsibilities: 

 

Responsibilities: 

• At least 8-10 year Cisco Networking experience
• Juniper Networking experience
• F5 Load Balancer experience
• Cisco Nexus experience
• Data Center Networking experience
• Palo Alto Firewall experience is ideal (or Juniper)
• Certifications are always a huge plus (Cisco, Juniper, F5)
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of network communications.
• Uses knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
• Requires a bachelors degree and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• This role must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
• Possesses one or more industry standard certifications including CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc. ITIL v3 studies expected.
• Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Must be familiar with managed services concepts within an outsourcing environment. Typically reports to a manager.
