I would like to know how to update a clob column in oracle using sql,
not a java code.
in DB2 you can use Clob('....') to update a clob column..is there
something like that in oracle?
If not whats the alternative?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tanha
Investigate the dbms_lob package as it is designed for BLOB/CLOB/BFILE
manipulation. Of course there may be other alternatives however you
failed to post the version of Oracle you are using (all four numbers).
